Stratigraphy at Minnesota Landscape Arboretum brings together two Ojibwe artists creating contemporary work about Native life. The exhibit explores the cyclical nature of generations, land, and time, and includes Maggie Thompson’s intergenerational collaboration, Inherited Ground. It also reflects on stratigraphy as layers of earth and the way visual art can navigate between the past, present, and future simultaneously.
