Playtime Compass is designed to be browsed without creating an account. We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location from your IP address, and server logs.

When you contact us by email, we collect the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, corrections, or activity suggestions.

When you submit an event, we collect the event link or details you provide, your required contact email, and any optional event image. Submissions are stored privately so the Playtime Compass team can verify the information, follow up with questions, and decide whether to publish the event.

The site may store temporary preferences in your browser, such as activity filters or scroll position, so pages feel consistent while you browse.

We use information to operate Playtime Compass, review submitted events, improve family activity listings, fix inaccurate event or venue details, understand which pages are useful, protect the site from abuse, and respond to messages.

Playtime Compass uses the Pinterest API to publish Playtime Compass activity content to Pinterest boards we operate or manage and to verify and maintain that publishing workflow. We do not use Pinterest API data as a standalone product feature. We may store limited operational records needed to manage Playtime Compass publishing, such as selected board identifiers, Pin IDs, Pin URLs, publishing status, titles, destination URLs, image or media URLs, timestamps, and internal audit notes.

Playtime Compass is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest. Pinterest has its own privacy policy and terms that apply when you use Pinterest.

If an authorized user connects a Pinterest account to Playtime Compass and later disconnects it, or if our Pinterest API access is revoked, we stop using the Pinterest access token and remove stored access or refresh tokens from our active secrets. We also delete Pinterest-derived account and board data that is no longer needed for the publishing workflow. We may keep limited publishing history, such as Pin IDs, Pin URLs, destination boards, timestamps, and internal audit notes, when needed to prevent duplicate posts, troubleshoot publishing, document prior publication, comply with law, or maintain site security. Pins already published on Pinterest may remain available on Pinterest unless they are deleted from Pinterest.

We do not sell, resell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. We do not use Pinterest API data for third-party advertising services, data brokerage, or unrelated user profiling.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host the site, run analytics, deliver API infrastructure, publish Playtime Compass content, or maintain security.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of Playtime Compass, or to address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

Playtime Compass links to family events, venues, resources, Pinterest, and other third-party websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and their policies apply once you leave Playtime Compass.

Social platforms and developer tools may process information according to their own policies when we publish content, connect an account, or link to social posts.

Playtime Compass is made for parents and caregivers. It is not intended for children to submit personal information, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You can disable browser storage or clear site data in your browser settings. You can also contact us to ask about personal information you have sent by email or through the event-submission form, including requesting deletion of a submission.
