Playtime Compass LLC provides early childhood curriculum resources and is developing planning tools for teachers and childcare providers. This policy covers playtimecompass.com, teacher accounts, access requests, communications, and our content-publishing services. Public activities, resources, and event listings can be browsed without an account.

Teacher accounts currently require approval and an invitation. The curriculum planner is not yet connected to accounts on this website. We will update this policy when we introduce features that change how we collect or use information.

Teacher accounts: we process your email address, account identifier, and profile information such as your name. Clerk provides sign-in, password handling, email verification, and session management. If you use a social sign-in option, the sign-in provider shares the account information needed to authenticate you, such as your name and email address. Our application database does not store your password.

Access requests and invitations: we collect the email address you submit to the waitlist. We also record access status, whether an email came from the website or outreach, account and invitation identifiers, and dates related to requests, approval, invitations, acceptance, and revocation. We may add an email address from our direct outreach to send an invitation.

Messages and feedback: we collect the information you choose to send, including your name, email address, questions, and feedback. If you choose to take part in a feedback call, we may keep notes you share about your needs and experience.

Event submissions: we collect the event details or link, contact email, and optional image you submit. We store submissions privately for review and follow-up. Approved event details may be published.

Technical information: our hosting and service providers process information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request times, and server logs. Google Analytics collects website usage information, including pages viewed, referrals, device information, and approximate location.

We use information to provide resources, manage teacher accounts, review access requests, send invitations and sign-in messages, enforce access decisions, respond to questions, review event submissions, and protect the service from abuse.

We use waitlist contact information to communicate about requested access and relevant launch updates. We may ask whether you would like to share feedback or join a feedback call. Participation is optional. Contact us if you no longer want these messages.

We use feedback and website usage information to improve our curriculum resources, planning tools, and website.

Clerk uses cookies and related browser data to support authentication and sessions. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to measure website use.

The website stores some information in your browser, including activity and event filters, selected event region, scroll position, and visual-schedule drafts. Browser drafts are not the same as curriculum plans saved to a teacher account.

You can manage cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Blocking storage can affect sign-in and preferences. Clearing browser data can remove local drafts.

Playtime Compass uses the Pinterest API to publish Playtime Compass activity content to Pinterest boards we operate or manage and to verify and maintain that publishing workflow. We do not use Pinterest API data as a standalone product feature. We may store limited operational records needed to manage Playtime Compass publishing, such as selected board identifiers, Pin IDs, Pin URLs, publishing status, titles, destination URLs, image or media URLs, timestamps, and internal audit notes.

Playtime Compass is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with Pinterest. Pinterest has its own privacy policy and terms that apply when you use Pinterest.

If an authorized user connects a Pinterest account to Playtime Compass and later disconnects it, or if our Pinterest API access is revoked, we stop using the Pinterest access token and remove stored access or refresh tokens from our active secrets. We also delete Pinterest-derived account and board data that is no longer needed for the publishing workflow. We may keep limited publishing history, such as Pin IDs, Pin URLs, destination boards, timestamps, and internal audit notes, when needed to prevent duplicate posts, troubleshoot publishing, document prior publication, comply with law, or maintain site security. Pins already published on Pinterest may remain available on Pinterest unless they are deleted from Pinterest.

We do not sell, resell, license, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. We do not use Pinterest API data for third-party advertising services, data brokerage, or unrelated user profiling.

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers as needed to host the site, store data, authenticate accounts, send emails, measure website use, publish our content, and maintain security. These include Clerk for authentication and invitations and Google Analytics for website measurement.

We may disclose information when required by law or when needed to address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or technical issues.

We retain account, access-request, invitation, communication, and technical records to operate the service and for security, troubleshooting, and legal needs. Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose.

Removing the saved-activity and saved-event features did not automatically delete older saved records. Historical records may remain until account deletion or a separate data-cleanup process.

You can delete your account from the Account page. This removes the Clerk account and the local account record, including associated historical saved activities and events. It does not automatically remove separate waitlist, invitation, access-control, correspondence, or backup records. We may retain a limited access-control record to enforce a revoked-access decision.

Contact us to request removal from the waitlist or deletion of other personal information. Some records may need to be retained for security or legal reasons; backup copies may remain until they are replaced or expire.

Our accounts and planning services are for adult teachers and childcare providers. Children do not create accounts. The activities and curriculum are intended for adults to use with children.

Do not submit child names, photos, health information, or other information that identifies a child through account, waitlist, event-submission, or feedback forms. These features do not require child records. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

You can update your account name, manage your sign-in, or delete your account from the Account page. You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to stop waitlist and launch messages. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

You can manage browser storage through your browser settings. Essential account and security messages may still be sent while you use an account.

Our site links to resources, events, venues, social platforms, and other websites. Their privacy policies apply when you use those services. Social sign-in providers also have their own privacy practices.

We will update this page and the date below when our practices change. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
