Get ready for a Spooktacular evening at Zumbro on Sunday, October 25! Bring the whole family for an evening of Halloween fun, classic comedy, and community festivities. The fun begins with Trunk or Treat in the parking lot from 4:30–6pm. Kids of all ages are invited to dress up in their Halloween costumes and bring a bag to collect treats from our creatively decorated trunks. Then, from 6–7pm, head into the sanctuary for two hilarious, family-friendly silent films from the 1920s, featuring live, improvised organ music by Zumbro’s Director of Worship Arts and organist, Dr. Matt Gender. Enjoy The Haunted House, starring Buster Keaton, and Habeas Corpus, starring Laurel and Hardy, accompanied by Matt’s one-of-a-kind musical improvisations. Food trucks–including Pretty Pop (Mobile Dirty Soda Shop), cotton candy, popcorn, and plenty of treats will make this a memorable evening for kids and adults alike! Want to help make the magic happen? Volunteer to host a trunk—all the candy will be provided! You can also donate candy and treats for our trunk hosts to distribute.
