You can explore the Rochester Art Center’s first public display of its permanent collection since the museum’s 75th anniversary exhibition in 2021. The exhibition highlights 17 works chosen to show a broad cross section of the collection, including pieces from East Asia and artworks that reward close in-person viewing. As you walk through the gallery, you’ll see how the museum’s collection care and research work support future exhibitions and make the art more accessible to the community. The featured artists include Nicholas Africano, Gail W. Bamber, Khanh Cong Le, Winifred Godfrey, Gary Johnson, Eiichi Kotozuka, Alan Larkin, Keith A. Leaman, Mike Lynch, Bernard McNally, George Morrison, Louise Nevelson, William Saltzman, Carol Slade, and Tomikichiro Tokuriki.
