You can join a guided walk to explore the public artwork in Mayo Park, right next to Rochester Art Center. The route follows a paved path across the Zumbro River, and you’ll learn more about Rochester’s Art4Trails program along with works by artists such as Charles Huntington, James Earl Fraser, and Po Shu Wang. If the weather turns bad, the experience moves indoors to the Rochester Art Center galleries. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and you do not need a reservation. This is a free, open-to-all outing that works well for families looking for an easy outdoor arts experience in Rochester.
