You can explore the public artwork in Mayo Park on a guided walk that starts at the museum’s main entrance and continues along a paved path across the Zumbro River. Along the way, you’ll get a closer look at Rochester’s Art4Trails program and see works by artists including Charles Huntington, James Earl Fraser, and Po Shu Wang. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and if the weather does not cooperate, you can enjoy an indoor tour of Rochester Art Center galleries instead. The tour is free, open to all, and does not require reservations. It’s a relaxed way for families to enjoy art, fresh air, and a little local history together.
