You can explore a curated selection from Rochester Art Center’s permanent collection and see works that have not been publicly displayed since the museum’s 75-year anniversary exhibition in 2021. The exhibition highlights 17 works chosen to represent a broad cross section of the collection, including pieces from East Asia and artworks that are best experienced in person. When you visit, you’ll get a look at the care and research that go into preserving museum collections, along with a chance to view details and textures that do not come through in reproductions. Featured artists include Nicholas Africano, Gail W. Bamber, Khanh Cong Le, Winifred Godfrey, Gary Johnson, Eiichi Kotozuka, Alan Larkin, Keith A. Leaman, Mike Lynch, Bernard McNally, George Morrison, Louise Nevelson, William Saltzman, Carol Slade, and Tomikichiro Tokuriki.
