About this event
Join this sidewalk astronomy event for a safe look at the Sun through specially filtered telescopes. You can stop by during the event to learn from amateur astronomers with the Rochester Astronomy Club, who will explain what you’re seeing and answer questions. Since the program depends on at least partly cloudy skies, it may be adjusted by the weather. There is no formal presentation, so you can come and go as needed, and bringing a packed lunch lets you turn the visit into a picnic at the park.
