You can explore a curated look at the Rochester Art Center’s permanent collection, presented publicly for the first time since the museum’s 75-year anniversary exhibition in 2021. The show brings together 17 works selected to highlight a broad cross section of the collection, with special attention to pieces from East Asia and artworks that are best experienced in person. As you walk through, you’ll see prints, photography, and other works that reward close viewing and show the care involved in preserving a museum collection. This exhibition also offers a glimpse into how the art center is expanding access to its holdings and building future permanent collection presentations for the community.
