Art: Inherited Ground at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum highlights an intergenerational collaboration between Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and her mother, Peggy Thompson. The exhibition pairs Maggie’s woven textile works in ribbon and beads with her mother’s paintings focused on the ground, dirt and earth at the Arboretum, bringing together Ojibwe floral design and painterly studies of the land.
