About this event
Art: Inherited Ground at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is an intergenerational collaboration between Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and her mother, Peggy Thompson. The project combines woven textile works with ribbon and beads, Ojibwe floral design, and paintings centered on the ground, dirt, and earth at the Arboretum. Together, the pieces reflect shared observation of the same landscape through two distinct visual languages.
