Art: Inherited Ground brings together woven textile works and paintings by Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and Peggy Thompson in an intergenerational collaboration inspired by the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Maggie’s ribbon-and-bead woven florals draw from flowers growing in and around the Arboretum, while Peggy’s paintings focus on the ground, dirt, and earth beneath them, creating two distinct visual responses to the same landscape.
