MIA Family Day: Sounds of Summer fills the Minneapolis Institute of Art with hands-on art activities, storytelling, artist demonstrations, gallery hunts, self-guided tours, and more, all inspired by Mia’s collection. This July edition focuses on the seven elements of art—line, shape, color, form, value, space, and texture—with a STEAM activity outside, gallery exploration of pottery, paintings, photos, and more, art-making with Mia’s teaching artists, and natural dye processes.
