About this event
Art: Inherited Ground brings together the work of Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and her mother, Peggy Thompson, in an intergenerational collaboration at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The project combines woven textile pieces made with ribbon and beads, Ojibwe floral design, and paintings centered on the ground, dirt, and earth at the Arboretum, showing two distinct visual languages responding to the same landscape.
