Art: Inherited Ground at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum presents an intergenerational collaboration between Maggie Thompson (Fond du Lac Ojibwe) and her mother, Peggy Thompson. Their work combines woven textile pieces made with ribbon and beads, Ojibwe floral design inspired by flowers around the Arboretum, and paintings focused on the ground, dirt, and earth there. The project explores how two visual languages interpret the same landscape.
