Discover your creative side at Mia’s Art Play! event, where families can explore different mediums and techniques for FREE. Drop in for this fun and interactive day of art appreciation, art-making and self-expression. Art Play! is your chance to experiment at the Minneapolis Institute of Art – with a different artistic medium each month on the first and third Saturday. **Take a scavenger hunt through Mia’s collection of world-class art exhibits** to find works in that medium, then indulge your family’s inspired creativity and make your own artwork in the museum studios. **Art Play! is open-ended art for the whole family!** No tickets needed. No prompts given. No rules except your own. Each visit can be a unique experience with a new medium and a new focus within Mia’s galleries. Art Play! is FREE to all Mia visitors and open to all ages and abilities to drop in and create a work of art!
