About this event
At the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, you can step into Omé-Na-Ala, Igbo Traditional Farm, a living exhibit co-curated by Chidi Chidozie. Families will explore sacred and vital plants from Igbo culture, discover a scaled-down Igbo village, and learn how traditional farming shaped daily life in southeastern Nigeria. It is a thoughtful, outdoor experience that invites you to slow down, look closely, and connect with a rich cultural story. With children and caregivers in mind, the exhibit offers a chance to wander together, notice new foods and plants, and talk about heritage, agriculture, and community in a beautiful Minnesota setting.
