Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk - Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for the Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk, an augmented reality art exhibition by Twin Cities digital artist Marlena Myles, a member of the Spirit Lake Dakota tribe. You and your family can begin in the Harrison Sculpture Garden, then follow the walk to discover digital images and audio at different stops. Along the way, you will explore Dakota history, culture, and the significance of the land through art and storytelling. It is a thoughtful outdoor experience for adults and kids together, with plenty to see, listen to, and learn in a beautiful garden setting.
