Dakota Sacred Hoop Walk - Minnesota Landscape Arboretum
Visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for the Sacred Hoop Walk Art, an augmented reality exhibition by Twin Cities digital artist Marlena Myles, a member of the Spirit Lake Dakota tribe. Beginning in the Harrison Sculpture Garden, this outdoor experience invites you and your family to use your phone to discover digital images and audio at stops along the walk. Along the way, you will explore Dakota history, culture, and the significance of the land through art and storytelling. It is a thoughtful way to wander the grounds, learn together, and experience the Arboretum in a new way. Fun for the entire family.
