Dwellings
Join your family at Thompson County Park for an engaging event that explores how different cultures have built their homes. This hands-on experience invites you to investigate traditional building techniques from Dakota, Hmong, Mexican, Ojibwe, and Somali communities. Participants will get creative, experimenting with materials to design and construct your very own mini-dwelling. It's a wonderful opportunity for families with children aged 6 and older to learn together while having fun outdoors.
