About this event
Resource Renew hosts their third annual event aimed at composting individuals’ pumpkins. In exchange, families can participate in fall activities. Organizers encourage folks to bring their “ghoulish gourds, plump pumpkins, and juicy jack o’lanterns” to add to the compost. Those who are “not ready for Halloween to be over” can wear a family-friendly costume for the chance to win prizes. Activities include pumpkin games, apple cider, balloon twisting with Lauraloons, snacks, greeting goats that help with buckthorn management and more. Attendees can also drop off their leaves and yard waste during the event.
