About this event

Join two students as they explore with a female astronomer at a local star party in this planetarium show about the history of the telescope—from Galileo’s modifications to a child’s spyglass with two small pieces of glass to the launch of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope and the future of astronomy. The show follows the wonder and discovery made by astronomers over the last 400 years, and each performance is followed by a live presentation of the night sky. Closed captions are available upon request, and a sensory friendly showing is offered on Sept. 12 at 4 pm.
