About this event
Join two students and a female astronomer at a local star party for Two Small Pieces of Glass, a show about the history of the telescope from Galileo’s modifications to a child’s spyglass to the launch of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope and the future of astronomy. The planetarium program explores 400 years of astronomical discovery and is followed by a live presentation of the night’s sky. Closed captions are available upon request, and a sensory friendly showing is scheduled for Sept. 12 at 4 pm.
