Explore the Blue Heron research vessel with scientists, crew and students from the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Large Lakes Observatory. This community event features guided tours of the ship, hands-on displays and interactive exhibits about lake science, plus presentations by authors and researchers connected to freshwater and Lake Superior topics. Visitors can also browse lake-related literature and meet authors after the talks.
